No January Blues at Junior Preschool

There are no January Blues at Kids@BT9 Preschool!

January, we can all agree, was the longest month of the year. Christmas is well behind us and payday was a lifetime away… But for the staff and children at Kids@BT9 Junior Preschool, January has been super fun! 2018 is off to a great start! January is a month for starting new things, and Shannon (our new unit head) has really settled in to her new post well and is having a great time! The children have been trying many new things this month too! With all the snow that has fallen this month, it was a must that we all got out to have some fun in it! The children got to play in the snow and explore new textures in the messy tray.

This months big theme has been transport, with many of our artistic projects inspired by this! The children and the staff together made a Kids@BT9 Tourbus with all the Junior Preschool kids on board with the staff behind the wheel. It was great fun to design and build the project and see it all come together. But the creativity didn’t stop there. The children also got to enjoy creating loads of new and unique patterns by using blow painting to create modern masterpieces!

All in all, January has been great fun at Kids@BT9.  January is labelled as a ‘miserable’ month with days such as ‘Blue Monday’, but we can say we made the most of January and everyone had a great time. Here’s to February!
