First Steps Autumn Walk
Autumn is a beautiful time at First Steps with changing trees and crisp, cool air.
On 30th October, the children put on their coats, hats, reflective jackets and wellington boots, ready for adventure. We all set off as a team heading for Bachelors Walk Park in Portadown.
It was a wonderful morning. The children were able to see all the changing leaves falling to the ground and the conkers ready to burst open. We explored the crunchy walkways and to be explored the trees and the conkers with our little hands. We saw some squirrels scurrying around preparing for the winter ahead set in a vast array to colours – What a joy for the children’s senses.
When the children had finished exploring by relaxing and enjoying a lovely biscuit in the great outdoors. What better way is their to spend an autumnal day?
