The Pre-school children at Holly House are certainly preparing for when the fire service, police and nurses visit the nursery in February. We have been performing a spot of roleplay to act as the People Who Help Us!
To begin, we have been learning all about who the people who help us are. This includes the importance of stranger danger and wearing your seatbelt. Furthermore, we have been learning about calling 999 in an emergency and how we should care for one another.
This is a great topic which gives the children a sense of security and helps them understand personal safety and looking out for each other, two of the best life skills!
