Holly House

Holly House Nursery is a large detached house, purchased in July 1997 and converted for use as a day nursery. The Nursery opened in February 1998 and is registered for 78 Children from ages 0 to 12 Years, and we are celebrating over 20 years of Quality Child Care this year. The facility offers a wide range of childcare, in a safe and secure environment, perfect for the ongoing development for you Children.

Our Facilities

Holly House Nursery has 5 allocated rooms, the Baby Room – 0-2 years old Non – Mobile, the Wobbler Room – 0-2 years old mobile, the Toddler Room – 2-3 years old, the Pre-school Room 3-5 years old and a great after-school facility 5-12 years old. We also have long serving, dedicated members of staff who came together to win 2019’s ‘Clear Day Nurseries’ Nursery of the Year Award.

Children attending local schools avail of our breakfast club and after-school service. Most of these children have attended our setting from a very early age and regard Holly House Nursery as a second home. We have children with special health care needs and will support these children under the supervision and advice given from health care experts as well as a care plan if needed.

Regular Visitors at Holly House

We provide a variety of activities to suit various age groups in children’s learning and development. We have Jo Jingles providing musical activities for babies, wobblers, toddlers and pre-school. We also invite Zoolab, TACT, Amazon Jungle, the Fire Service, Police, Ambulance and Clear Dental to support monthly topics within our pre-school room. Our pre-school children follow the Northern Ireland Curriculum and go on monthly outings in relation to their monthly theme.

We invite parents and relatives to various events throughout the year. These include Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas Concert, Pre-School End of Year Party, Information Evenings and Fundraising Events. We have supported various charities such as Tear Fund, Trek for Cambodia, Children In Need, Sports Relief, Barnardo’s Big Toddle and Our own Defibrillator fund. These are great team building events and involve Staff, Parents and Children.
